On the 5th of July the Hearing of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development on the future of Ukraine in the EU took place.
The Federation of Employers of Ukraine presented to the Government, leading European business associations and Ukrainian business leaders the study "Strategic guidelines for deepening trade and economic relations between Ukraine and the European Union under the Association Agreement."
The Federation of Employers of Ukraine (FEU), the largest and most representative employer organization in the country, conducted a survey between 10 and 27 April, 2020 to scan the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic among its member enterprises. 121 enterprises responded to the survey which is based on the ILO “Enterprise survey tool: Assessing the needs of enterprises resulting from COVID-19”.
On the employers' side, the document was signed by Mr. Dmytro Oliynyk, Chairman of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine.
Dmitry Oliynyk noted that the event is of key importance to the process of social dialogue. The experience of European states proves that special success has been achieved by those of them where social dialogue is constantly going on and the development of real socio-economic policy is agreed with employers and trade unions.
