Summing up the first results of the visit. More than 20 Ukrainian companies took part in the Ukraine Reconstruction Conference, organized by Juske Bank and our strategic partner, the Danish Confederation of Industry (Dansk Industri – DI).
The event was attended by Danish and Ukrainian high-ranking officials, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister for Industry, Business and Finance of Denmark, Ukraine Invest, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Denmark and more than 150 representatives of Danish companies seeking to work with Ukraine, Ukrainian business and invest in our country.

The naval blockade of Ukrainian ports imposed by the Russian Federation rendered seaborn markets inaccessible to Ukrainian producers, reducing the cargo turnover of Ukrainian ports in 2022 by more than 60%.

On July 12, during the Plenary Session of the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels, the proposal of the EESC President Oliver Ropke to involve employers, trade unions and civil society representatives from the EU candidate countries in the work of the Committee on a permanent basis as Honorary Enlargement Members was discussed.

We presented to Mr. Yamashita our Federation of Employers of Ukraine and and our members’production capabilities and emphasized the fact that today, even in the conditions of war, we have enough competences, production potential and qualifications to produce equipment together with leading Japanese companies, in particular, to organize joint productions.

On July 3, a meeting of the EU-Ukraine Civil Society Platform was held in Brussels under the chairmanship of Oleksandr Yavorskyi, Director of the FEU Department, and Marcin Nowacki, Member of the European Economic and Social Committee.

Together with their colleagues, the Federation's management and members met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
