Ahead of the official opening of URC-2026, the Federation of Employers of Ukraine (FEU), together with Vice President of the Confederation of Danish Industry Marie Ged-Hansen, Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Haiduk, Deputy Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Aliona Shkrum, and Denmark’s Special Representative for Cooperation with Private Defense Companies Ole Egbert Mikkelsen, took part in a Danish-Ukrainian networking reception.
The event was organized by FEU’s strategic partner — the Confederation of Danish Industry (Danish Industry, DI) — together with the Embassy of Denmark in Poland.
FEU was represented at the event together with nearly 20 member companies from various sectors of the Ukrainian economy, which had the opportunity to engage directly with potential Danish partners.
The event brought together Ukrainian and Danish businesses to discuss practical cooperation in Ukraine’s reconstruction and the launch of new joint projects.
We thanked the Vice President and our Danish partners for their many years of trust and for developing a systematic business dialogue. Special attention was paid to the Danish-Ukrainian Business Council, established by DI and FEU, which serves as a platform for continuous interaction between businesses from the two countries.
We emphasized that Ukraine’s reconstruction does not begin with conferences — it begins with business: contracts, partnerships, and trust between companies.
We continue to focus on deepening cooperation — from trade to joint production and the integration of Ukrainian companies into European value chains.
Priority areas include manufacturing, energy, green technologies, mechanical engineering, the defense industry, agribusiness, and infrastructure.
Today, the FEU business delegation will continue its work on the sidelines of URC 2026 following the official opening of the conference.
