A new leadership of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine elected

KYIV, September 6, 2016. From today the Federation of Employers of Ukraine (FEU) has new leadership. It was elected at a meeting on Tuesday by majority vote of the governing body of the association - FRU Council, which includes 52 heads of sectoral and regional business organizations.

Now at the head of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine is Mr. Dmytro Oliynyk, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSC "Vetropack Gostomel Glass Factory" and president of the Association of the glass industry. In 2010-2011, he has already headed the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, and from the end of 2011 to date he was the Vice-President of FEU on economic issues.

Dmytro Oliynyk said that the Federation was and remains the most influential business association that defends the interests of the national economy. - "I sincerely thank the Federation Council for the confidence and great responsibility assigned to me. The FEU activities continue to be focused on improving the business environment in Ukraine, attracting investment into the economy and strengthening the position of Ukrainian enterprises in global markets. We work with the aim that the voice of Ukrainian business was heard in Ukraine and in the world ", - said Dmytro Oliynyk.

Deputies of the newly elected head of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine are: Oleg Boyaryn - Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSC "Eurocar", the chairman of the Federation of Employers of automobile industry; Volodymyr Tsybulskyi - General Director of JSC «SKF Ukraine", head of the Volyn Regional association of employers; Grygorii Dashutin - Honorary President of the NICMAS concern, head of the Federation of employers of machine building industry; Anatolii Hirschfeld - Honorary President of the IG "UPEK," chairman of association of employers of Kharkiv region; Andrii Antoniuk - chairman of the Federation of employers of Kyiv; Jevgen Lapin - head of Sumy regional association of employers.

The head and his deputies will continue to represent and protect national business at the highest national and international levels. They support the basic values of the Federation - openness, independence and political neutrality, responsibility, ethical business and the rule of law.

A new composition of the Presidium of the FEU Council was also elected, that will carry out the strategic management of the organization. The Presidium included 15 owners of large industrial enterprises and heads of sectoral business associations of the key industries in Ukraine.

The Federation of Employers of Ukraine (FEU) – is the most influential association of Ukrainian business. Founded in 2002, by now for 14 years the Federation successfully represents and protects the interests of business in Ukraine and internationally. By now, the FEU unites over 80 sectoral and regional organizations of employers representing the most important sectors of the economy of Ukraine, such as machine building, metallurgy, automotive, aerospace and defense industries, agriculture, chemical industry, IT, media industry, energy, medical and microbiological industry, construction, transport, light and food industries, tourism, utilities, services sector.

The Federation represents interests of over 8.5 thousand enterprises, collectively generating 70 % of the national GDP and employing over 5 million people.
